Taylor Park Elementary

'Learning and Growing Together'

Taylor Park Elementary School was recognized as a Blue Ribbon School in 2001 and a Spotlight School for Academic Achievement in 2006 and 2009. Taylor Park staff consists of 42 talented teachers and staff members whose primary focus is the academic success, social emotional growth, and safety of our diverse student population. The building includes 12 elementary classrooms, PASS Pre-school, Special Education services, and Family Resource Coordinator services. Students are not only provided daily academic instruction in the classroom, but they also learn from the Instructional Materials Technician and physical education, art, and music teachers during the school week.

Taylor Park is an AVID Elementary site. AVID Elementary strategies are embedded into the daily instruction of all 4th-grade classrooms. AVID Elementary Essentials focus on the four necessary areas to ensure that all students are poised for academic success: Instruction, Culture, Leadership, and Systems.

Our dedicated parent and volunteer community include our Parent Teacher Organization (PTO) which supports our Taylor Park students and staff. Taylor Park Elementary School has a faithful volunteer population of parents, grandparents, and community members who interact with our students.
